My creative career has been guided by one consistent question: what is this medium now, and what does it want to become?
I'm fascinated by the enormous potential for narrative storytelling in spatial media (film and sound), and the arrival of Apple's Vision Pro has only deepened this fascination.
My current immersive projects all center around the Vision Pro, and its ability to render fully immersive worlds with incredible fidelity.
I've led design teams at SiriusXM, Razorfish, GREY and Agency.com to create groundbreaking digital experiences for leading Fortune 500 companies such as Ford, NBCUniversal, Pfizer, and Nike.
My creative work has appeared at Sundance and SXSW, and garnered numerous industry accolades, including ADDY and One Show Interactive awards and four Webbys.
I studied film at university in Australia, and worked in production and post-production in the New York indie film world, particularly as a video editor.
Since then, I've made several short films of my own, and still have a love for post-production. More recently I've been drawing on my video-editing skills as I use DaVinci Resolve to craft my immersive cinema productions.
Music is my first love. In my native Australia, I worked as a professional musician, playing guitar and keyboards with cult favorites The Riptides, and touring with GANGgajang.
I also set up a home studio, with an 8-track and one of the first MIDI computers, and began composing film music. That practice continues to this day in my current home studio, where I do all of the music and sound design for my own projects.
